Not All Who Wander Bleat

Some journeys begin with a map.

Others begin with a single curious step.

Two sheep wander through a forgotten winter landscape, drawn toward a quiet figure who has been waiting far longer than they could ever know. High above, two birds keep watch. At her feet, a tiny cat seems to have arrived first, as if it already knew the way.

No one appears surprised to find one another.

In the world of WonderLust, that is simply how things are.

Forgotten paintings, vintage frames, porcelain fragments and found objects leave behind the stories they once belonged to and become part of something entirely new. Not by erasing the past, but by allowing it to continue in another form.

Not All Who Wander Bleat is a gentle reminder that wandering is not the same as being lost. Sometimes curiosity leads us exactly where we were meant to arrive.

Perhaps the sheep know that already.

Artist's Note

Some objects seem to find one another long before I do.

An old landscape. A weathered frame. A quiet Madonna. Two wandering sheep. Curious birds keeping watch, and a tiny cat waiting patiently at her feet.

I never begin with a fixed story. I begin with a feeling that certain forgotten fragments still belong together.   As each piece finds its place, a new world quietly reveals itself.

Perhaps that is what WonderLust is.

Not creating fantasy, but uncovering the wonder that has been hiding in ordinary things all along.
